Richard Curiale is a partner with the law firm of Curiale Dellaverson Hirschfeld & Kraemer, LLP, in San Francisco, California. Mr. Curiale's focus is in labor and employment law counseling with an emphasis on supervisory training, preventative labor relations, union organizing, collective bargaining and arbitration.
Mr. Curiale co-authored the book Stopping Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: An Employer's Guide (California Chamber of Commerce, 1993). He regularly presents public and in-house seminars designed to teach managers and supervisors how to avoid costly litigation, particularly in the areas of wrongful discharge, discrimination and sexual harassment. He has made numerous presentations to Fortune 500 companies throughout the country, as well as to the California court system.
In addition to providing training to employers, Mr. Curiale regularly represents companies charged with discrimination or sexual harassment, advises employers on how to respond to union organizing, represents companies before the National Labor Relations Board and in court-related proceedings, represents employers at the bargaining table, advises companies on NLRB decertification procedures, represents employers at arbitrations and regularly conducts internal investigations of employee complaints.
Mr. Curiale is a 1979 graduate of St. John's University School of Law where he was a member of the St. John's Law Review. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the states of California and New York.
